This quarantine has given me enough time to go back and work with FCPX on some older videos. One of them is from August 2017–Door County Vacation. One problem I encountered was random artifacts in the movie when exported from my 2015 Macbook Pro. I tried everything to fix it including using Compressor. Nothing worked. It was only when I moved the FCPX library to my 2107 iMac and used it to export the video that the video was fixed. Seems like the Macbook Pro isn’t strong enough to handle the export. The fan was loud and it heated up.
