Updating smart home to Hubitat

During this Covid – 19, self isolation, I decided to update the smart home and convert my smart things hub to a Hubitat.

One advantage of the Hubitat is that it is local and does not require internet connection to operate. Its programming is a little bit more complicated, but a lot more powerful. Conversion took just over a week. Additional home monitoring sensors were also installed.

Additional home improvements included replacing the ring thermostat with an ecobee thermostat, replacing the coach lights, replacing the deck light, installing new smart switches for dining room and patio deck lighting, and the installation of three outdoor motion sensors. A blink camera was also installed. To top things off, a Lutron casseta hub was also integrated into the network.
